This is what a family day out looks like when it means something.

Our tours are designed to do more than just show you around. From the moment you arrive, our guides bring Cambodia to life through sharing culture, and connection, whilst learning about the communities you ride through. Whether it is an impact talk at a local pagoda, a chance encounter with villagers who smile and wave, or simply learning about daily life from the people who live it, every moment is as educational as it is enjoyable.

It is a meaningful way to travel as a family, and one that your kids will remember for all the right reasons.

Ready to book your family adventure? We offer bespoke private cycling tours on request.

This is what happens inside the Eco-Soap Bank facility, and it is far more fascinating than you might expect.

Our Eco-Soap Bank Social Impact Tour takes you directly into the heart of their operations, where you will meet the team and see firsthand exactly how discarded soap from global manufacturers is transformed into life-saving hygiene products for communities in need. It is a 3.5 hour experience that is as eye-opening as it is hands-on.

You will not just be watching from the sidelines either. The tour includes a guided soap-making session where you get to participate in the process yourself and take home the bar you create.

From the income generated by every person who joins this tour, Eco-Soap Bank is able to produce 70 bars of soap for communities where access to basic hygiene is limited. And on top of that, 10% of your ticket goes directly to a local partner cause of your choice, from our vetted list.

Eco-Soap Bank is also our community partner in the spotlight for August, and we are hosting a Community Ride in their honour on Saturday the 29th of August. More details coming very soon so watch this space.

Sustainable solutions in action, and an afternoon well spent.

Connall came for the ride and left with a lot more than that.

There is something about spending a morning out on the trails with our team that turns a bike tour into something far more personal. The conversations flow naturally, the laughs come easily, and before you know it you feel less like a guest and more like you have known these guys for years.

This is what we set out to create on every single tour, and seeing it happen never gets old.

Thank you for riding with us Connall, we hope to see you back on the trails soon.

Mark your calendars.

Our community ride in support of Eco-Soap Bank is on Saturday 29th August and we would love to see you there.

This is not your average Saturday morning. We will start with a brief catch up at our store in Kandall Village, followed by a transfaer out to the Eco-Soap Bank factory to see their soap recycling process firsthand and meet the women behind the work. From there, we will enjoy a 15 to 20km ride through beautiful Cambodian countryside with our team alongside, before transferring back to our store. All of that is included in your registration fee.

Along the way you will have icy cold water, fresh fruit, cold towels, tuk-tuk support and our team by your side the whole way.

Registration options:
🟠 $7.50 β€” Full Cycling Experience with Rental Bike
🟠 $25 β€” Full Cycling Experience with Rental E-Bike
🟠 $10 minimum donation per person, going directly to Eco-Soap Bank

Our goal is 20 riders raising $200 or more in support of one of the most impactful causes operating out of Siem Reap.

Expats, locals and tourists are all welcome. Come ride with us and make a tangible difference.

Every great ride has a great crew behind it.

While you focus on the road ahead, our support team is right there with you every step of the way. Our tuk-tuk drivers follow the full route, marking corners, keeping the group together, and making sure no rider is ever left behind.

And yes, that means icy cold water at every stop along the way. Never underestimate how good that feels on a Cambodian day.

It is one of the things our guests mention most often, and one of the things we are most proud of. A well supported ride makes all the difference, and our crew take that seriously.

We love our drivers, and we’re confident you will too.

August is here and this month we are shining a spotlight on a partner cause close to our hearts.

Eco-Soap Bank started right here in Siem Reap and has since grown into a global movement, recycling soap scrap initially from hotels and now manufacturers into hygiene products for communities in need, while creating fair, dignified employment for Cambodian women.

Over 80 million bars recycled across 42 countries. All of it starting from one factory in our own backyard.

What we love about Eco-Soap Bank is that it sits at the intersection of three things that matter deeply to us: environmental responsibility, women's empowerment, and community health. It is the kind of cause that ripples outward in every direction.

If you are visiting Siem Reap this month, you can choose Eco-Soap Bank as your chosen cause to support on any of our cycling day tours, with 10% of your ticket going directly to their work.

And if you want to go deeper, save the date. Our community ride in support of Eco-Soap Bank is on Saturday 29th August.

The people who make it all possible.

Meet Saorn, our newest community guide and communications officer here at Ripple Effect Rides. We are so proud to have her on the team.

At Ripple, we are committed to building a team that reflects the community we ride through. That means fair employment, local talent, and creating real opportunities for young Cambodians to build careers in responsible tourism.

When you ride with us, you are not just exploring Cambodia. You are directly supporting the people who call it home.

This is exactly why we do what we do.

The people you meet along the way on a Ripple Effect Rides cycling day tour are what make the experiences we offer in Siem Reap unforgettable. Riding through remote Cambodian villages, you get a glimpse of everyday life that no guided bus tour could ever offer.

We run our social impact cycling day tours 6 days a week, alternating between two 18km routes through the Siem Reap countryside, friendly for beginners through to seasoned cyclists.

Our Countryside Charm tour takes you through rice paddy fields, local villages and along the scenic edges of the West Baray. Our Villages, Trails and Temples tour winds through remote villages and past lesser-known Angkorian temples without needing an Angkor Pass.

Both tours start from $60 USD per person, with 10% of every ticket going directly to a local partner cause of your choice, from education and disability support through to environmental causes and LGBTQI+ inclusion.

Each tour includes:
🟠 High-quality Cannondale bike and helmet rental
🟠 Expert English-speaking local guide
🟠 Dedicated tuk-tuk support driver
🟠 Snacks and icy cold refillable water along the route
🟠 Return transfer to and from our store to the remote starting locations
🟠 10% donation to your chosen partner cause

Want something more private? We also offer bespoke private cycling tours on request.

WhatsApp us to find out more or to book your spot.
