I hope you have enjoyed our journeys along the ancient East Royal Road (Khmer: វិថីបុរាណខាងកើត) from Angkor to Preah Khan of Kampong Svay, and if you haven't been following the FB posts, here's a long read: https://helloangkor.com/angkor-to-pkks/. We visited some 65 temples, bridges and points of interest and I hope you will too, if you haven't already.

It truly is an amazing 100km journey back in time through the circa 11th to 14th century, and in my mind, it's one of the heritage jewels that deserves a place right alongside Angkor Wat. It surely deserves the same protection, preservation and even a listing as a World Heritage asset.

Where else in the world can you have an experience like this? Nowhere but Cambodia 🇰🇭🇰🇭

All going well, we'll come back to it again for another journey in the summer as there is still so much more to understand about this amazing heritage trail.
