Choeung Ek Killing Field located 15 kms southwest of Phnom Penh city, it was used as a Killing Field between 1977 and 1979 by Khmer Rouge. The bodies of 8,895 victims were excavated from the site after the fall of the Rouge, who would have been executed there. In the whole country there are 388 Killing Fields, 19,653 mass grave sites have been identified across Cambodia, over 2 million people as part of their Cambodian genocide between 1975 and 1979.Thanks for watching . Baphuon is a Hindu temple at Angkor, Cambodia. It is located in Angkor Thom city, northwest of the Bayon. Also called "golden mountain" (svarnādrī), the Baphuon was built on an artificial hill. The temple was originally dedicated to Shiva and in 16th century was converted to a Theravada Buddhist temple.

Tuol Sleng Genocide Museum is a museum for the Cambodian genocide. Located in Phnom Penh, the site is a former secondary school that had been turned into an internment facility known as Security Prison 21 (S-21) by the Khmer Rouge regime from 1975 until its fall in 1979.
