Angkor Guide Sarak

Angkor Guide Sarak Angkor Wat tours: tourist Guide + Transportation, Siem Reap, Cambodia Hello everybody! Welcome to my beautiful country of Cambodia. My name is Nuon Chansarak.

Let me introduce myself to you! My family name is Nuon and Chan means Monday, the day I was born. Sarak is the first name that I am called, so please call me Sarak. I finished high school in Siem Reap in 1998, and in 1999 I started my first job in Raffles Grand Hotel in Siem Reap. I worked as a bartender and also as a waiter in the Food and Beverage department. Then two years later in 2001 I went

to work in FCC in Siem Reap, the Foreign Correspondent Club. There my title was Bar Supervisor. Again, two years later in 2003 I moved to work in Victoria Angkor Hotel in Siem Reap where I was Bar Manager. Then two years later in 2005 I went to work in Hotel de La Paix, which now is the Hyatt in Siem Reap. Here I was Bar Manager again. Then in 2006 I quit my job working in the hotel because I wanted to see the outside world. I took the exam to become a tour guide for Angkor so I could start my new job as an English speaking tour guide a year later. I have worked for hotels, guesthouses, and other tour agencies, giving tours to couples, families, and small and big groups alike to visit temples not only in Siem Reap but in other parts of Cambodia as well such as Phnom Penh, Battambong, Kampong Cham, Kampong Thom, Sihanukville, Preah Vihear, and others. Now I also have my own website on Tripadvisor so my clients can write reviews about my services on there. Then I eventually can have my own clients contact me to be their tour guide there too. I can also help those clients get an excellent tour guide when I can’t take the tour with them. I also like photography. Every time I take a tour I always take great pictures for my clients. Now I have a Nikon 3200D, so I bring it along with me on the tour and can take some pictures of my clients and upload them into my dropbox and share the link with them, and then they can download their photos from my dropbox for souvenirs. Siem Reap itself is rich in history and it's not a place where one get to absorb all by just wandering on your own - hence you have my teamBelow is my guide team. They also can give tours here in Cambodia. Please contact me so I can assist you in scheduling your holiday in Cambodia. Thank you! Please kindly contact me by

I was debating to hire a guide, and am so glad I went with Angkor Guide Sarak! Not only does he have an in-depth knowledge of the history of each temple, he is an amazing photographer! He took so many wonderful photos for me, and sent them all to me via WhataApp the same day as our tour. Sarak knows how to avoid the crowds yet still tell information without missing a beat. He has an intuitive sense of when to give you some alone time to explore a bit more on your own. The towels he provides were so refreshing and perfectly timed, as well as smelled terrific and had a lasting cooling affect to avoid overheating. He also has great attention to detail - I told him that I'm vegan, and he even stopped at a village on the ride back from the "Lady Temple" where there are naturally vegan, local treats that are palm sugar cakes and so incredibly delicious. A lovely way to end the fantastic and unforgettable day.
Thank you so much, Sarak!!

Sarak made this tour an absolute 10/10. He struck the perfect balance between professionalism and fun, making the entire experience feel both seamless and memorable. As a solo traveler who's usually more comfortable behind the camera, I especially appreciated having someone who not only offered to take photos but turned out to be a fantastic photographer.
His knowledge of both Hinduism and Buddhism added so much depth to the temples-it wasn't just sightseeing, it was truly understanding what we were seeing. He also chose an excellent spot for breakfast, which was a perfect start to the day and a great way to experience local flavors.
And the small touches didn't go unnoticed-cold towels infused with eucalyptus oil during the hottest part of the day were a lifesaver.
If you're visiting Angkor, do yourself a favor and book with Sarak. You'll leave with great memories, great photos, and a much richer understanding of the history.
