3Days Temple Tour Itinerary – Explore the Wonders of Angkor
Day 1: The Angkor Classics
• 4.45am Angkor Wat – Begin your day with sunrise over the world’s largest religious monument. Guided walk through its magnificent galleries and bas-reliefs.
• Angkor Thom & Bayon Temple – Discover the ancient capital city with its famous smiling stone faces at Bayon.
• Baphuon, Phimeanakas, Terrace of the Elephants & Terrace of the L***r King
• Ta Prohm – The “Tomb Raider” temple, where giant trees grow through the ruins.
• Lunch break at a local restaurant
• Return to hotel in late afternoon.
Optional visit to a night market or traditional Apsara dance show or enjoy your free evening.
Day 2:
• Banteay Srei – Known as the “jewel of Khmer art,” this pink sandstone temple features exquisite carvings.
• Preah Khan – A large, serenity temple complex with a mix of nature and ruins.
• Neak Pean & Ta Som – Unique water temple and peaceful sites with fewer tourists.
• East Mebon or Pre Rup for sunset views.
• Lunch in a restaurant near the site.
Optional: in the evening- visit a circus or enjoy your free time.
Day 3: Remote & Sacred Sites
