An overnight stay at the Wildlife Release Centre in a remote part of Cardamom Mountains will live long in the memory. The release centre is one of the main sites used by Wildlife Alliance for releasing animals rescued from the illegal wildlife trafficking trade in Cambodia. Animals suitable for release are kept in safe-release enclosures around the station before reintroduction to the wild. A range of nature-based activities are offered at the centre and in the surround protected forest. Visitors can observe feeding of resident sun bears, monkeys and other wildlife being prepared for release. Walk in the forest, swim in natural pools, and set camera traps to observe wildlife around the camp. Comfortable chalets provide overnight accommodation. And it gets even better, 100% of tour profits go towards the rescue, rehabilitation and release of wildlife in Cambodia.
