The APOPO Visitor Center opened on the tourist trail in 2018, designed to give our visitors a better understanding of our organisation, the problem of landmines and show live demonstrations of how the HeroRATs sniff out explosives. ជាផ្នែកមួយនៃគម្រោង “ការកែប្រែចម្ការមីនទៅជាវាលស្រែ” (M2R) របស់យើង ឥឡូវនេះស្រូវបានចែកជូនដល់កសិករដែលចូលរួមនៅក្នុងខេត្តព្រះវិហារ។

នៅឆ្នាំនេះ គ្រួសារថ្មីចំនួន 45 គ្រួសារនឹងទទួលបានអត្ថប្រយោជន៍ជាលើកដំបូង ពីគម្រោងរបស់យើង ដោយពួកគាត់អាចធ្វើស្រែចម្ការលើផ្ទៃដីចំនួន 105 ហិចតា ដែលបានបោសសម្អាតគ្រាប់មីនរួចរាល់ សរុបរួមមក ចំនួនកសិករទាំងអស់មានចំនួន 168 គ្រួសារ និងផ្ទៃដីដាំដុះមានចំនួន 285 ហិចតា មកទល់ពេលនេះ! ចំនួនអ្នកទទួលផលសរុបពីការបោសសម្អាតមីនរបស់យើងនៅក្នុងគម្រោងនេះឥឡូវនេះមានចំនួន 2,610 នាក់។

ឥឡូវនៅក្នុងឆ្នាំទីបីរបស់យើង គម្រោងនេះនៅតែបន្តរីកចម្រើន ហើយយើងទន្ទឹងរង់ចាំរដូវកាលថ្មីនៃលទ្ធផលកាន់តែល្អប្រសើរ។

យើងសូមថ្លែងអំណរគុណយ៉ាងជ្រាលជ្រៅចំពោះ FCDO របស់ចក្រភពអង់គ្លេស សម្រាប់ការបន្តគាំទ្ររបស់ពួកគាត់ក្នុងការប្រែក្លាយអតីតចម្ការមីនឱ្យទៅជាដីស្រែចម្ការដែលមានផលិតភាព។ 🌱

As part of our "Minefields to Ricefields" (M2R) program, rice has now been distributed to participating farmers in Preah Vihear province.

This year, 45 new families will benefit from the program for the first time, cultivating 105 hectares of land cleared from landmines — bringing our total to 168 farming families and 285 hectares cultivated so far! The total number of beneficiaries from our mine clearance in this project is now 2,610.

Now in its third year, the project continues to grow, and we look forward to another season of strong results.

A huge thank you to the UK FCDO for their continued support in turning former minefields into productive farmland. 🌱
