visiting floating village and Tonle Sap Lake; Kompong Phluk is one of the most famous floating village in Cambodia where local people have been living for many years. There, you will see a tall stilted houses almost 600 built along the side of the river. It is a unique place to learn the real Cambodian way of living. I knew this floating village very well because I grew up near that village especially, I also grow rice there since 2000. Travelling with a guide who live there you will not forget it at all. Then, visiting Tonle Sap Lake known as the biggest freshwater lake in South East Asia. The lake is so rich in varieties of biodiversity over 200 fish species, 13 turtle species, 225 birds species as well as different types of mammals live in and around Tonle Sap Lake. Tonle Sap lake regarded as the heart and the Blood vessels of all Cambodian people since the Angkorian time till present-day.
