Dear friends and travelers,

My name is Isa Chea, and I’m the founder of Angkor Lady Drivers — a women-led driving service created to support local mothers, daughters, and sisters to earn income with dignity and pride.

Our mission is to provide safe, respectful, and empowering experiences for travelers, while creating meaningful jobs for women in our community. But recently, we’ve faced two serious challenges that I would like to speak about personally.

1. Sexual Harassment

Some tourists— especially men — approach our lady drivers not to book a ride, but to ask inappropriate and offensive questions, including suggestions of sexual services.

Let me be clear:
❌ Our lady drivers do not offer any sexual service.
❌ We are not here for entertainment or personal attention.
✅ We are professional drivers and proud working women.

We kindly ask everyone to respect our team as they would their own sister, mother, or wife. Sexual harassment — in person or online — is not acceptable. We will not stay silent when our dignity is disrespected.

2. Fake Bookings and Last-Minute Cancellations

We have also experienced cases where people book a ride, ask us to prepare a driver, and then cancel at the last minute or disappear without notice. Some even do this intentionally as a scam or joke.

Please understand:
🚗 Our drivers wake up early, travel long distances, and sometimes miss other work or family time to be ready for you.
💸 When you cancel without warning, our women lose a full day’s income — and in some cases, this directly affects food on the table for their children.

If you must cancel, we understand — but please do it with respect and early notice.

🇹🇭🇰🇭 Thailand–Cambodia Border Advisory

June 26, 2025

Due to ongoing border tensions between Thailand and Cambodia, Thai authorities have increased controls at several land border crossings. While borders remain open, travel overland may face delays or confusion. For now, we recommend avoiding overland travel between the two countries.

✈️ Flights between Thailand and Cambodia continue as normal — no restrictions on air travel.
🛡️ Travel within Cambodia is completely safe, and the affected areas are far from tourist destinations.

🚗 Angkor Lady Drivers remains fully open and operating as usual.
We continue to provide reliable airport transfers, temple tours, and trips to Kampong Khleang and beyond.
