Something about rainy season in Siem Reap feels different 😇

The city slows down a little. The air cools off. The trees get greener. People spend a bit less time rushing around and a bit more time actually living.

That’s honestly one of our favourite times here.

Morning coffee. Pool after the rain. A movie night. Quiet work calls. Reading on the balcony. Long conversations. Or doing absolutely nothing and feeling okay about it.

Whether you’re staying a few days, a few weeks, or settling in for longer, SEREY is built to feel easy to live in.

Reliable fiber internet
Built in desks
Private bathrooms
Mini fridge in every room
Shared kitchen + community fridges
Pool + rooftop
No deposit
No surprise fees

Daily from $28
Weekly from $139
Monthly from $423

And a little teaser… we’re slowly working on adding a small restaurant and bar space on-site too 🍷

A lot of people ask if SEREY Living is only for monthly stays.

It’s not.

Some people come for one night because they’re curious.
Some stay a week because they’re figuring out Siem Reap.
Some plan for a few days and end up staying longer because the place just works.

That’s usually how it happens here.

Quiet rooms. Reliable internet. Proper desks. Mini fridge in every room. Shared kitchen. Pool. Rooftop. No deposit. No surprise fees.

And if you work online, we actually understand that setup. Zoom calls, late hours, uploads, content, extra lighting if needed. It’s normal here.

Daily stays start around $28
Weekly stays around $139
Monthly stays from $423

We’re not the cheapest place in town, and we don’t try to be.

But if you want somewhere calm, clean, work-friendly, and easy to actually live in, you’ll probably understand why people stay longer than they planned.

Feel free to message if you want to check dates.

A lot of people come to Siem Reap thinking they just need a cheap room.

Then after a week of unstable WiFi, hidden bills, noisy apartments, awkward landlords, and trying to work from cafés every day… they realize they actually needed a proper setup.

That’s kind of why SEREY exists.

Quiet environment. Reliable internet people genuinely work from every day. Proper built in desks. Poolside rooms, balcony rooms, rooftop, shared kitchen, and a calm mix of remote workers, retirees, creators, and people just figuring life out.

No deposit. No surprise fees later. Everything included.

Daily stays from $28
Weekly from $139
Monthly stays usually between $423–499 depending on the room.

We also opened up 2 longer-stay spots at $799 for 2 months all included 👍

Honestly, sometimes people don’t realize how valuable a stable setup is until they finally have one.

A few rooms opened up again recently. Usually they don’t stay open too long.

Just came across a very clean scam attempt today.

Everything looked like a great booking.

Long stay. Polite. Clear communication.
Asked about airport pickup, safety, details… exactly the kind of guest you’d want.

So we did what we normally do.
Arranged a driver.
Held the room.
Turned away other bookings.

Then came the message.

“I’m stuck at the airport… need help paying something… I’ll reimburse you.”

At that point it felt off.

We didn’t send any money — but we still took the hit:
👉 paid the driver
👉 held the room
👉 lost other guests

Out of curiosity, I searched the number.

Same name. Same number. Same exact script.
Already reported in a Facebook group in Vietnam.

Not yesterday. Today.

So this isn’t random — it’s being repeated across places.

Just a heads up for anyone in hospitality or working with drivers:

Never send money on behalf of a guest
Don’t dispatch drivers without solid confirmation
Don’t hold rooms last minute without a clear cutoff
If something suddenly becomes urgent… pause

Not posting this to complain.
Just putting it out there so the next person doesn’t learn it the same way.

Stay sharp 👍

A lot of people have been asking if we offer short term stays.

We do 🙂

Some come for a night just to see how it feels. Some stay a week while figuring things out. Others end up staying longer than they planned.

SEREY kind of works for all of that.

The setup is simple but built for real day to day living. Reliable internet that handles Zoom calls and heavy work without issues, proper desks in the rooms, and extra lighting if you need it for calls or content.

Shared kitchen you can use anytime, a pool people keep coming back to, and a rooftop that slows things down in the evenings.

It’s not a loud place. No pressure to socialize. But people naturally get along and still have their own space.

We keep things straightforward. Everything is included. No extra fees, no surprises.

Daily stays are around $28 to $39
Weekly around $139 to $169
Monthly between $423 and $499 depending on the room

If you’re just passing through or thinking of staying a bit longer, you’ll probably get a feel for it pretty quickly.

It’s always an interesting mix here.
A remote sales guy on calls half the night, a couple of UK teachers running classes online, someone in their 20s building something, someone in their 60s just enjoying a slower pace. Different ages, different paths… somehow it all works.

That’s kind of what SEREY has turned into over time.

One of the UK teachers landed with no real plan, stayed a few nights, and before long had her visa sorted, bank account opened, and a routine going. Nothing formal about it — we just helped point things in the right direction along the way.

There’s Russel, probably the funniest guy around. Dry humor, quick with it. Loves the pool… actually most of the UK guests do for some reason.

Craig from Australia… always good energy, always up for a laugh. The kind of guy who ends up fixing things around the place without being asked.

Peter… built like Hulk Hogan. If you catch him at the right time, you’ll get stories for hours. And if you ever need fitness advice, he’s your guy.

Everyone’s different, but there’s a natural balance. No forced social vibe, no pressure — people get along when they feel like it, and still have their own space when they don’t.

The place itself is simple but set up properly for living. Good rooms, proper desks, strong WiFi, shared kitchen you can use anytime, pool, rooftop. The kind of setup that starts making more sense after a week than it does on day one.

We also help where we can. Visa stuff, bank accounts, settling in… no fees, no service attached to it. Just part of how we run things.

Monthly stays are between $423 and $499 depending on the room. That already includes things people usually end up paying extra for elsewhere.

A couple of rooms have opened up again recently.

If you’re looking for something calm, grounded, and with the right kind of people around you… you’ll probably understand it when you see it.

Someone asked recently who took the photos.

Wasn’t expecting that, just tried to capture the place as it actually is.

That’s kind of how SEREY has been from the beginning. Nothing staged, nothing overdone. What you see is pretty much how it feels.

The last couple of weeks we were fully booked. Different kinds of people came through and some stayed on longer. A few working US hours, some building things online, and one of our long-term guests happens to be a former NBA player. Everyone doing their own thing, but it somehow settles into a really calm rhythm.

It’s not a loud or social place, but there’s a quiet kind of community here. People respect each other’s space, but you still feel like you’re around others who are focused and grounded.

The setup is simple but intentional. Proper desks, strong WiFi, kitchen you can use anytime, pool, rooftop. The kind of place that works better after a week than it does on day one.

We keep things straightforward. No deposit. No small add-ons later. Just something that’s easy to live in.

Monthly stays are between $423 and $499 depending on the room. That already includes things people usually end up paying extra for elsewhere.

A couple of rooms opened up again recently. It usually fills up without much noise.

If it feels like your kind of place, you’ll probably understand it.
