BTS THE CITY Busan was not just about one concert venue. It was a citywide fan experience where official events, purple lights, photo spots, exhibitions, LIVE PLAY, pop-ups, and fan memories came together across Busan.

For ARMY and K-pop fans, Busan became a special travel destination during the BTS in BUSAN period. Places like Haeundae, Gwangalli, Busan Tower, Seomyeon, and the waterfront night-view areas helped fans experience the city through music, lights, and shared memories.

Many of the official BTS THE CITY Busan programs were temporary, so it is important to check official sources before planning a future fan trip. But even without an active event, Busan is still worth visiting for its sea, night views, local food, and emotional purple travel mood.

Planning your trip to Busan for the BTS concert? 💜

One of the most important choices is where to stay in Busan. The city is larger than many travelers expect, and your hotel area can affect your concert day, return route, and overall travel experience.

Here is a simple ARMY stay guide:

🏙 Seomyeon
Best overall choice. Good for food, shopping, cafes, and moving around Busan.

🚇 Yeonsan
Best for concert access. Less touristy, but practical if the concert is your main plan.

🚄 Busan Station
Best for KTX travelers. Useful if you arrive from Seoul or leave Busan early the next day.

🌊 Haeundae
Best for beach hotels. Beautiful and vacation-like, but not the closest area to the stadium.

🌉 Gwangalli
Best for night views. Great for photos, cafes, and Gwangan Bridge views.

Going to the BTS concert in Busan? 💜

One thing you should plan before concert day is your transport route to Busan Asiad Main Stadium.

For most international ARMY, the easiest option is public transport. Busan Subway Line 3 connects to the stadium area, and the main station to save is Sports Complex Station / 종합운동장역. It is also smart to save Sajik Station / 사직역 as a backup station in case the area is crowded.

Before the show starts, make sure you have your return route ready. After a big concert, taxis can be hard to catch and subway stations may get very busy.

Korea is a very convenient country for payments, but foreign visitors should understand the difference between credit cards, cash, T-money, and mobile payments before arriving.

In most cafes, restaurants, hotels, convenience stores, and shopping malls, an international credit card is usually the easiest option. But it is still smart to carry some Korean won for traditional markets, street food, small shops, and emergencies.

For public transportation, a T-money card is one of the most useful things to get after arriving in Korea. You can use it on subways, buses, and some taxis by simply tapping the card.

The Royal Tombs of the Joseon Dynasty may look simple at first: a grassy mound, stone statues, pine trees, and a quiet path.

But these tombs are much more than burial places. They are carefully designed royal memory spaces where Joseon kings and queens were honored through Confucian ritual, symbolic architecture, and harmony with nature.

A Joseon royal tomb usually includes a burial mound, a ritual pavilion, stone officials, stone animals, a spirit path, and a surrounding forest. Together, they show how the Joseon Dynasty remembered its rulers and connected royal authority with respect for ancestors.

For first-time visitors, Seolleung and Jeongneung in Gangnam are one of the easiest royal tomb sites to visit in Seoul. They offer a beautiful contrast between Korea’s royal past and the modern city skyline.
