Did you know that apple mangoes are really famous in Jeju Island? The optimal harvest season is from May to September, and the taste is truly the best. Mangoes imported from overseas are treated with strong preservatives, but Jeju mangoes are harvested directly from the farm, so there is no need to worry about preservatives. You can slice it and eat it right away, or you can make it into mango shaved ice. Jeju mangoes are mainly supplied to Korea's highest-end hotels and department stores. When I came to the farm in person, I was able to see how the mangoes were carefully managed by hanging each mango with string to prevent the products from being damaged.
