Leaving out sentence elements in Korean
[Example #1]
A: 배고파? (skipped the subject)
B: 배고파. (skipped the subbject)
* A&b both already knows WHO is asking WHOM.
[Example #2]
A: 아빠 어디갔어?
B: 나갔어. (skipped the subject)
* A&B both already knows WHO they are talking about.
[Example #3]
A: 누가 내 사과 먹었어?
B: 저는 안 먹었어요 (skipped the object)
* A&B both already knows they're talking about the APPLE(object).
[Example #4]
사랑해 = love (skipped the subject & object)
* I've never said "나는 너를 사랑해". Their face already shows you that YOU love THEM.
The context is the most important while learning Korean.
You focus more on content while speaking English. (comparing to Korean) So, basically if you get some more unverbal information from the context or question, you should drop the sentence element.
