Kyobo Bookstore Gwanghwamun Branch (opened in 1981)

The No.1 offline bookstore in Korea is a cultural landmark.

Directly connected to Gwanghwamun Station underground, it boasts the largest single-floor book collection in the country. More than a place to buy books, it has evolved into a “cultural complex of knowledge and rest,” with giant reading tables, Hottracks (stationery & music store), and even scent marketing.
