The companion Ka'b ibn Zuhayr (d. 24AH) writes in Prophetic encomium which he was fortunate enough to recite in front of the Messenger of Allah.

Verily The Messenger is a Sword
Whose brightness lights the way forth
(like) an Indian forged sword
fron the unsheathed swords of the Lord.

It has been reported that when K'ab recited this verse, the Messenger of Allah gifted him his mantle, thus making this ode 'the original qasida burda
