Arirang, Cho Jung-rae’s epic historical novel, follows the people of Gimje through Japan’s colonial occupation, a story of suffering, displacement, resistance, and survival.

The Gimje Arirang Village was built around the real-life setting of the novel, recreating the streets, homes, and institutions described in its story.

Now, this same village becomes the setting for Arirang Crime Scene Tour.

On August 22–23, step into the world of Arirang, uncover the clues, question the suspects, and investigate a mystery rooted in its story.
