I’m not ashamed to admit that sometimes I’m still looking at hotels long after I probably should have stopped, comparing rooms, locations and little details most people wouldn’t notice.

Sometimes I take longer than expected choosing tours and experiences, making sure they fit together, suit your pace, and feel right for the kind of trip you want.

And sometimes I sit with an itinerary for a while before sending it, adjusting and refining until it feels right rather than rushed.

By this stage in life, most women are juggling work, family and constant responsibilities, with a to do list that never seems to end.

Travelling to Asia as a group is such a brilliant way to experience the region. From the beaches of Thailand and the Philippines to the food scenes in Seoul, Tokyo and Singapore, every destination has its own personality and endless things to explore together.

The rooms families actually want? They’re the first ones to disappear.

By the time most parents start planning Spring Break, Thailand’s best beach resorts are already booked, the spacious family suites are gone, and what’s left usually isn’t ideal for families.
And because it’s peak season, flights become more expensive and the timings that work well with children go quickly too.

The families I’m helping now have already secured their trips.

Over the past year, I’ve been helping others plan their travels full time, after leaving behind my years of teaching English.

But lately, I’ve been thinking more about what connection really means, not just in travel but in life.

I’ve mostly kept myself hidden behind the camera, partly because I was afraid to show myself. Yet at the same time, I’ve been craving genuine connection with people who love travel as much as I do. So I decided it’s time to step into the frame, not just stay behind it.

Travel has always been more than destinations to me. It’s the quiet mornings, the light spilling through a hotel window, the conversations that linger long after a trip ends. It’s the feeling of being fully present, wherever you are.

There’s so much to see and do, and the beauty of travelling to another country, especially across Asia, is embracing the unfamiliar: the language, the food, the rhythm of local life.
