Silversands Grenada Resort at Grand Anse
St. George, Grenada
I am excited to share my review on the Silversands Resort in Grenada. I chose this beautiful destination to visit for my birthday as well as to see what this property has to offer as I wanted to share a firsthand experience and stay with those interested in visiting. Silversands Grenada opened in 2018 and is one of the newest 5-star luxury properties to open in Grenada (they have just recently opened their sister resort, Silversands Beach House in February 2024 which I will also review in another post).
The Silversands Welcome!
From the time I stepped out of the airport door, I immediately felt a sense of welcome. I was picked up by Silversands (you can arrange round trip transfers directly with the resort). The greetings I received were so warm and welcoming, it provided insight of the service I was to experience throughout my stay. I was met by multiple Silversands Team members who welcomed me to the island and resort with a cool towel, welcome drink, and pleasant smiles and demeanor. I was able to sit in their beautiful outdoor open-air lobby with my drink while they checked me in. Once the quick check in process was completed, I was greeted again and driven to my room in a golf cart. I booked an Oceanfront Junior Suite and when the door opened to my room, I immediately knew this was not the suite I booked and asked if I was in the right room. They had upgraded me to their One-Bedroom Ocean Front Penthouse Suite. It was beautiful! Please Note, there are no bad rooms/suites on this resort!
Room Accommodations
Although, Silversands is a smaller resort it has multiple room categories (rooms, suites, and villas). They are all spacious and modern with the smallest room being almost 700 sq ft. I don’t believe there is a bad room view with all rooms/suites/villas offering lush tropical views and/or amazing ocean views. The suite was very clean, beautifully decorated with daily housekeeping and evening turn down service.
Dinning Accommodations and Spa
There are (2) restaurants on the resort (Grenadian Grill and Asiatique). I had the pleasure of dining at both as well as taking advantage of the breakfast every morning at Asiatique (the breakfast was incredible). My first night I had dinner at the Grenadian Grill, and it was breathtaking as the restaurant is on the beach with direct views of the ocean. The spa was also a site to see. I did not experience the spa services (I will during my next visit), but it was picturesque (Instagram worthy).
Silversands Team
The Silversands Team did not disappoint when it comes to customer service. The exceptional service started before I stepped foot in Grenada with the reservations team. They were quick to respond to all my questions, and very helpful with recommendations. I wish I wrote down everyone’s name that I encountered during my stay because everyone was amazing! Thank you to the Silversands Team for being so attentive, welcoming, and showing that a luxury resort is more than aesthetics and what the room looks like but has so much to do with the interaction you have with your guests.
Overall Thoughts
This is one of the best solo travel experiences that I have ever had and the most beautiful beaches I have ever seen. I would absolutely recommend Grenada and Silversands Resort to anyone who is looking for a beautiful scenic place to relax and absorb the beauty and culture the island has to offer. Silversands is a smaller more intimate 5-star luxury resort where I felt very comfortable and safe during my stay. The Silversands team were genuinely very friendly and greeted me by name and always asked if I needed anything. And I will have to see what scent they had throughout the rooms and property because everywhere I went smelled amazing! I WILL BE BACK!
Silversands exceeded my expectations!
I hope you enjoy some photos I took of my stay!
