🚠 Cable Car Maintenance at Shymbulak

Scheduled maintenance work will begin at the resort on October 12.

Cable cars will be closed:

• KKD-4 - October 12 to November 1
• M1, K-1, K-2 - October 19 to November 1

Shymbulak Mountain Hotel will remain open.

⚠️ Important: The road to the Shymbulak Gorge is closed until November 30.

For 15 years, Almaty Marathon has been showing a familiar city from a different perspective.

The Kazakhstan Hotel, the Palace of the Republic, the Central Stadium, the Abai State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre, Republic Square - iconic landmarks that feel different when you see them along the race route.

On September 27, we’ll run through our favorite streets once again and add our own kilometers to the marathon’s story.

Almaty Gastro Week: Michelin-starred chefs create unique dinners with Kazakhstani ingredients

From September 22–25, Almaty will once again prove its status as the gastronomic capital of Central Asia.

Chefs from Italy, Spain, the UAE, and Norway, all recipients of Michelin stars, will host four exclusive dinners at some of the city’s top venues. Each menu will be crafted using Kazakhstani ingredients, making every dinner a truly unique experience.
