Dear Motorcycle Friends,
the new season is imminent and we would like to bring you up to date.
The rainy season was very significant this year, which has led to numerous road damage. Therefore we would like to inform you about the current condition of the roads. In addition, there may be heavy rains this month, so the Kong Lohr Cave may need to be closed for one day.
Now to the road conditions for the loop.

From Thakek to Gnommalath are many, big and deep potholes. Due to the heavy truck traffic from Vietnam, extreme care must be taken on this section. Driving in the dark is invariably to avoid.

From Gnommalath to Phosy Thaland the road is better. But also here please slowly and carefully. Especially in the serpentines it can quickly lead to accidents.

The section from Thalang to Lak Sao is good.

From Lak Sao to Nahin there are also serpentines and potholes. Again, heavy trucks are coming from Vientnam. The road is narrow and winding. Very smooth in the rain.

From Nahin to Kong Lhor is not so good, but ok. A lot of big holes. The last 10km are extremely bad. This section is only to be mastered by experienced drivers.

Generally speaking: slow and safe. We do not want anyone hurt.
