Dawaer is committed to preventing the spread of extremism among youth and children in Lebanon and the Middle East through producing and disseminating alternative narratives and empowering youth and children to become responsible global citizens and mobilizing their critical thinking to counter radicalization. Dawaer members build on their extensive diverse experiences in achieving their mission and strive to exchange experiences on the local, regional, and international levels to help build a democratic peaceful society respectful of human rights. - Empowering youth and build their resilience against hate speech and violent extremism
- empowering youth to become central actors and key multipliers in preventing, reporting and critically responding to extremist narratives
- Empowering parents to detect and respond to extremism among their children
- Raise the awareness and develop the skills of schools on detecting extremism among their students, adopting preventive measures and empowering young people to become more resilient to extremism.
- Enhance media literacy in schools to prevent extremism
- A network of educators is formed whereby they are empowered to respond to behavioural and extremism challenges among their students, deal with online challenges and exchange experience at the national level
