We had the privilege of attending, at American University of Science and Technology - Zahle Campus, the presentation of “Wayn Ya Sanade?, a senior graduation project by at Tony Nassar, that lays foundation for a Destination Management Organization (DMO) and Experience Design for Zahle.
The project was developed under the expert guidance of Dr. Halim Choueiry, Chairperson of Arts & Design at AUST Zahle.
What we examined today was:
✅️ A truly work from the heart; Scan the QR code below to explore Tony’s work
✅️ A demonstration of the high-level design thinking, an approach led by Dr Halim at the Arts and Design Department,
✅️ A perfect example of how AUST is bridging the gap between academic theory and community needs.
Along with the university commitement to acting as a collaborative hub for various sectors across the Bekaa. As Dr. Gaby Abou Haidar, Director of AUST Zahle, beautifully noted, "a partnership that contributes to real economic and social impact."
We, at 3a Droub Zahle, are always fueled by new perspectives and collective work. Today, we were generously served with both.
Our hope is that this collaborative spirit will soon translate into a formal DMO, a much-needed entity to help Zahle regain the prestige it deserves.
