We were so looking forward to our stay at Manderley and it did not disappoint. The house is quirky and individual just what we were looking for. The best thing about it was the view from the terrace, we would never tire of it, the photos really cannot do it justice. The hummingbirds and other visitors to the garden were a delight. Penny the owner met us on arrival and was charming and nothing was too much trouble. If you want modern and boring there are lots of places to go but for a house with history do choose Manderley.
