It is also hard to resist the beauty of local jewellery. Showrooms and local dealers offer magnificent designs of gold and silver necklaces, rings and earrings with precious and semiprecious stones. After shopping you can try a traditional Sri Lankan meal in a local restaurant or just simply boost your energy levels drinking King Coconut water straight from the coconut shell. When you have seen enough of Aluthgama, Suneth can organize a trip to show you some of the World Heritage Sites in Sri Lanka. You can go to Dambulla - the cave temple with extraordinary paintings and awe-inspiring views. You can choose to visit the heart of Sri Lankan culture and go to Kandy. Kandy is the home of The Temple of The Tooth Relic, one of the most sacred places of worship in the Buddhist world. You might wish to go to Galle Fort, Sigirija, Polonnaruwa, or Anuradhapura. Not to miss is the Pinnawala Elephant oprhanage, turtle watching in Kosgoda, and a boat trip through the Bentota river.
