Planning to travel to Thailand? Please take note of the new visa measures effective from 15 September 2026.

⚠️ Sri Lankan passport holders will NO LONGER be eligible for Visa-Free Entry to Thailand and travellers will need to obtain the appropriate Thailand visa before departure.

📑 Documents generally required include: Passport scanned in PDF format, recent passport-size photograph, latest 3 months’ bank statements, leave approval letter or business registration, hotel accommodation confirmation, and return/onward flight tickets.

⏳ Tourist Visa Processing: Approximately 3–7 working days after submission of complete documents. Travellers should therefore arrange their visas well in advance to avoid last-minute airline check-in or entry issues.

📲 TDAC Reminder: All foreign travellers must also complete the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) within the required period before arrival.
