Dating back to the 10th century, this sacred complex features seven majestic statues belonging to the Mahayana Buddhist tradition. The towering Buddha statue still carries traces of its original stuccoed robe, with a faint orange streak hinting at its once vibrant colors.

To the right of the Buddha stands Avalokiteśvara Bodhisattva, symbolizing infinite compassion, while to the left of the graceful white-painted figure is Tara, depicted in the elegant thrice-bent posture—together reflecting the spiritual depth and artistic mastery of ancient Sri Lanka.
