Beira Lake is a lake in the center of the city of Colombo in Sri Lanka. The lake is surrounded by many large businesses in the city. It initially occupied approximately 1.65 km² of land 100 years ago and this has since been reduced to 0.65 km² today due to various reasons.

Unawatuna is a city located 140 km south of Colombo. The beach is semi-circular and stretches approximately one kilometer. Unawatuna is also known for its sea turtle population and tourists are able to witness them laying eggs along the shore at various times during the year. Although Unawatuna suffered heavily in the 2004 Indian Ocean tsunami, it was rebuilt quickly and touristic activity resumed.

Embekka Devalaya was built by the King Vikramabahu III of Gampola Era in Sri Lanka. The devalaya is dedicated to Kataragama deviyo. A local deity called Devatha Bandara is also worshiped at this site. The shrine consists of three sections, the "Sanctum of Garagha", the "Digge" or "Dancing Hall" and the "Hevisi Mandapaya" or the "Drummers' Hall". The Drummers' Hall has drawn the attention of visitors to the site, due to the splendid wood carvings of its ornate pillars and its high pitched roof.

Dunhinda Falls is a waterfall located about 5 kilometres from Badulla in the lower central hills of Sri Lanka. The waterfalls are purported to be one of the country’s most beautiful waterfalls.
The waterfall, which is 64 metres high, gets its name from the smoky dew drops spray, (Dun in sinhala means mist or smoke) which surrounds the area at the foot of the waterfall. It's also known as bridal fall, as the shape of the water falling is similar to a bridal veil. The waterfall is created by the Badulu Oya which flows through Badulla.
