There are four species of primates living in Sri Lanka.

One of them are called purple face leaf monkeys.
Purple face leaf monkeys can be divided in to four subspecies which is northern, montane, southern and western subspecies.
Out of all these subspecies the western sub species is highly endangered and they are in brink of extinction due to habitat loss and due to extensive construction of homes and large commercial facilities.
One of them came to my doorstep 🩷
