A warm “Ayubowan” to the beautiful Mein Schiff 6!
Yesterday, we welcomed her to the port of Hambantota, and today once again to the port of Colombo, as she brought thousands of visitors to experience the warmth, beauty, and hospitality of Sri Lanka and its people!
Operated by TUI Cruises, a valued joint venture partner of Aitken Spence Travels, this visit is especially meaningful to us. Earlier this year, at a time when Sri Lanka needed tourism more than ever following Cyclone Ditwa, Mein Schiff 6 was the very first cruise ships to call over to our shores, bringing with it hope, confidence, and valuable tourism revenue.
This time too, over 1,800 passengers are exploring our island through excursions curated by Aitken Spence Travels, supporting not only tourism but also the many local guides, transport providers, suppliers, craftsmen, and small businesses who form the heart of our industry.
As an organization built on partnerships and people, we are proud to see this relationship grow stronger year after year, with Mein Schiff 6 calling at both ports of Hambantota and Colombo, showcasing the growing appeal of Sri Lanka as a world class cruise destination.
To all the German passengers and crew onboard we say AYUBOWAN & welcome to our paradise island. We hope you leave with unforgettable memories and a little piece of Sri Lanka in your hearts!
