The publication praised the island's unique blend of aromatic spices and rich cultural traditions. It highlights how the country effortlessly caters to international travelers by offering everything from high-velocity street food stalls to elegant beachfront dining.
The official report shines a spotlight on ten must-visit culinary hubs across Sri Lanka. The bustling capital of Colombo stands out for its iconic rice and curry, kottu roti, hoppers, and urban street food, while the coastal towns of Galle and Negombo are celebrated as the ultimate destinations for fresh seafood.
In the cultural heart of the country, Kandy is highlighted for its authentic traditional dishes, whereas Jaffna is singled out for its legendary crab curry and Tamil culinary heritage.
