🕊️ A Nation Walking Together for Peace & Harmony 🇱🇰
Across Sri Lanka, a meaningful journey is unfolding — a journey that reminds us that peace is not just a destination, but a way of living.
From the sacred city of Anuradhapura, home of the Jaya Sri Maha Bodhi, the oldest human-planted tree in the world, a 7-day Walk for Peace led by Venerable Bhikkhu Pannakara and an international delegation of monks will travel across the country from 21st – 28th April 2026. This spiritual walk carries a powerful message of unity, compassion, mindfulness, and non-violence for all communities.
Guided by the belief that
“Peace always begins from within, not without,”
this journey invites every Sri Lankan to reflect on how simple living, kindness, and harmony with nature can create a more peaceful society.
