The sea turtle hatchery is a place where specially dedicated to turtles who need humans help..

If you are interested in such cases one of the prominent place situated Habaraduwa which is 33 minutes from Mirissa, the main tourism magnent related to sea line tourism..in here injured turtles are carried to the hatchery from Habaraduwa, Mirissa, Weliwela and Unawatuna areas.

The hatchery people use their kind hands to treat these innocent dumb creatures and release them to their own ocean world again.. Its one of the most eye tearing scene one can see in their life time...

And also its amazing that the turtle eggs process.. After they find turtle eggs in the beach they carried them to the hatchery and provide motherly care to them.. And after the eggs hatch they immediately put the baby turtles to their habitat..
At one time they care about like 1000 turtle eggs.. When we talk about turtles you can find various types of them in this hatchery like leatherback turtles green turtles, loggerhead turtles, hawksbill turtle, olive riderly turtle etc.

And another amazing thing is while you are seeing these innocent creatures you will get a chance to release them to the ocean.. And it will be one of the most epic moment in your life.. And you will get this amazing opportunity for like about 5 dollars..
