The final stop of the wonderful island hopping journey was a visit to the beautiful located in Petit Anse Bay on the south west of Mahe. The resort offers a range of villas from 1 - 4 bedrooms, nestled in amongst the natural vegetation of this unique destination, overlooking the Indian Ocean.

With the variety in the accommodation, the resort is perfect for couples, friends and family with plenty of activities as well as restaurants for those enjoying long stays. A visit to the spa, located at the highest point of the property on the hillside, is a must if not just to sample the panoramic views especially at sunset. Being located on Mahe, its is easy enough to venture out to nearby restaurants or shops as well as a visit to the islands capital Victoria for those wanting to soak up what is on offer locally. Of course, if this all feels a little much, you are on holiday after all, you can simply just relax and recharge in the privacy of your own villa 😎

The fourth stop for Dale & Lorraine was to the Felicite Island to visit . This previously uninhabited island perfectly showcases the stunning landscape of the granite boulders entwined with the natural vegetation of the island.

With only 33 villas, perched on the east and west coast the resort offers complete privacy whilst offering a variety of views of the Indian Ocean depending on your located. The villas are stunning and effortless blend in to their surroundings to make you feel part of the natural environment.

Although luxurious, sustainability runs through the core of the property in true Six Senses fashion with it's all natural products made in house to creating your own body scrub at Alchemy Bar or sustainability tour or a visit to their very own organic garden.

Although a very much a private island feel, its location means you can hop over to nearby islands be it Praslin to visit Vallee de Mai, La digue to see any of its many beautiful beaches or to the nature reserve Curieuse Island to the hundreds of free roaming tortoises there
