One moment I’m waiting at a hotel to welcome my guests, the next I’m stopping to capture an unexpected visitor 🐿️, and a few hours later we could be exploring ancient sites, enjoying local food, discovering beautiful scenery, or simply sharing stories along the road.
That’s the beauty of travelling in Sri Lanka — you never know what special moment is waiting around the corner. ❤️
I don’t want my guests to simply “see” Sri Lanka.

🐬 A Magical Morning in Trincomalee! 🌊🇱🇰

One of the unforgettable moments from my recent tour with Bríet and Hildur from Iceland — dolphin watching in the beautiful waters of Trincomalee, near historic Fort Frederick.

The sea was calm, the dolphins were playful, and the smiles said it all! 🐬😊

I truly enjoy my work as a tour guide because every journey brings new experiences, new friendships, and special memories.

🌴 A Day in the Life of a Tour Guide 🌴

Every day is different when you’re a tour guide! One of the things I enjoy most about my job is meeting wonderful people from all around the world and sharing the beauty of Sri Lanka with them. 🇱🇰🌍

This tour gave me a wonderful opportunity to work, relax, and stay physically active at the same time. I’m currently in beautiful Nilaveli, where my lovely clients from Iceland decided to spend five relaxing days at Uga Jungle Beach.

While they enjoy their holiday, I also get the opportunity to enjoy the surroundings, practise yoga, jogging, and warm-up exercises, and take some time to relax—all while doing the work I love. 🧘‍♂️🏃‍♂️🌊

This is one of the reasons I love being a tour guide. ❤️
Work, travel, meet people, enjoy nature, and stay active!

For me, keeping physically active is an important part of enjoying life and staying energetic for my work.
