Day 2 – Wilpattu Safari 🐆🌿

Drive to Wilpattu National Park and enjoy an afternoon jeep safari. Overnight in tented camp (2 nights).

Day 3 – Wilpattu Safari 🚙🐘

Full-day jeep safari in Wilpattu National Park.

Day 4 – Anuradhapura & Sigiriya 🏛️🗿

Visit the ancient city of Anuradhapura and the Aukana Buddha statue, then continue to Sigiriya (2 nights).

Day 5 – Elephant Safari 🐘🌳

Full-day jeep safari in Minneriya/Kaudulla National Parks, famous for large elephant herds.

Day 6 – Sigiriya, Dambulla & Kandy 🦁🎭

Day 02: Kandy City & Culture Visit the Temple of the Tooth and Peradeniya Botanical Gardens. Afternoon shopping for gems and crafts; evening Kandyan Cultural Show.

Day 03: The Vedda Tribe & Ella Drive via Victoria Reservoir to visit the Vedda indigenous community to observe their traditional jungle lifestyle. Continue to Ella.

Day 04: Ella Leisure & Nature Free day in Ella. Options include Little Adam’s Peak, Lipton’s Seat, waterfalls, or a local tea factory visit.

Day 05: Scenic Rail & Base Camp Ride the iconic scenic train to Nuwara Eliya for a colonial city tour. Afternoon drive to the base of Adam’s Peak for an early night.

1 – The Dambulla Rock Cave Buddhist Temple.

2 – Sigiriya’s “Lion Rock” palace/gardens/fortress.

3 – Fascinating archeological remains of the former capital city of Polonnaruwa.

(NB. All 3 sites can be combined in a rather long day (7am to 7pm) – though most omit Polonnaruwa on this day trip.)
