Best practices are maintained by Miracle Eye Helps during the ABC surgery. The dogs are kept for 5 days for post op treatment. As a standard practice nutritious protein based diet is fed, under instructions from the vet, to the recovering animal during the post op. Once recovered, the dogs are released on their own spot, under the watchful eye of a volunteer. Since at this time the cost is being b

orne by private donors, we would request your support. Vinodh Senarathna, Founder/President of Miracle Eye Helps at + 94 – 9201987 for financial or volunteering support. Also, we would urge Bentota based animal lovers to proactively get the dogs sterilized. This will be offered at cost basis, till the municipality doesn't undertake making payments. You can contact [email protected] for more details. It costs only Rs. 2500 (USD 20) to get one dog sterilized, vaccinated for anti-rabies and provided post op treatment and care for 5 days.
