BREAKING NEWS: Sri Lanka's Johann Peries successfully summited Mt. Everest at 5.55 am Nepal time today Tue 22 May 2018. This was his second attempt. Peries now becomes the second Sri Lankan to summit Mt. Everest after Jayanthi Kuru Utumpala in 2016. Peries' earlier attempt in 2016 was unsuccessful when his oxygen tank failed 400 metres before the summit. Please uphold him in your prayers and devotions for a safe descent. The descent is more treacherous at times than the ascent. (Johann's local team in Colombo)

Sera Ella Waterfall in Sri Lanka is a waterfall located in Pothatawela village, a place near Laggala in Matale District’s, Sri Lanka.The magnificient waterfall separates into two sections as it falls down the rockface, both falling down a height of 10m and which is visible from the Dumbara Jungle.

ඉදල්ගස්හින්න දුම්රිය ස්ථානය උඩරට බදුල්ල දුම්රිය මාර්ගයේ ඔහිය දුම්රිය ස්ථානය හා හපුතලේ දුම්රිය ස්ථානය අතර පිහිට ඇත.එය කොලඹ කොටුව සිට කිලෝමිටර 240.28ක දුරින් පිහිටා ඇත. මුහුදු මට්ටමේ සිට උස මිටර1665.85කි.බදුලු දුම්රිය මාර්ගයේ 68 වන දුම්රිය ස්ථානය වන මෙම දුම්රිය ස්ථානය ශ්‍රි ලංකාවේ 5 වැනි උසින් පිහිටි දුම්රිය ස්ථානයයි.
ඉදල්ගස්හින්න දුම්රියපොල ශ්‍රි ලංකවේ දකුණු කොටස සහ නැගෙනහිර කොටස වෙන් වන කදු මුදුනේ පිහිටි සුළං කපොල්ලක සදා ඇත.මේ නිසාම එක් මොහොතක පැහැබරවද තවත් මොහොතක මිහිදුමෙන් මුලු ප්‍රදේශයම වෙළා ගන්නා දේශගුණයක් ඇති අපුර්වතම ස්ථානයක් ලෙස හැදින්විය හැකිය.
ඉදල්ගස්හින්න දුම්රියපොල අපුර්වතම දර්ශනතලයක්ද වෙයි.කොලඹින් බදුලු යන කෙනෙකුට එහි දකුණින් ප්‍රකට වලවේ ගංගා නිම්නය ඇස ගැටෙයි.වම්පසින් සුවිසල් මහාවැලි නිම්නයයි.මෙහි අපුර්වත්වය වන්නේ පිහිටිම අනුව ඉදල්ගස් හින්න දුම්රිය ස්ථානයට ලැබෙන වර්ශා ජලය එක් පැත්තකින් මහවැලි ගංගා ද්‍රොණියටත් අනෙක් පසින් වලවේ ගංගා ද්‍රොණියටත් මුසු වේ.නිතරම මිදුමෙන් ගැවසුණු සිතලෙන්
ගල්ගැසුනු ඉදල්ගස්හින්න බෙහෙවින් සිසිල්ය.එහෙත් දකුණින් දිස්වන වලවේ ගංගා නිම්නයට ඇත්තේ වියලි කලාපිය දේශගුණයකි.වම්පසින් මහවැලි ගංගා නිම්නයේ ඉහල කොටසේ තෙත් කලාපිය දේශගුණයේන් යුක්තය.
