Yala national park is located in southern and uva provinces near to hambantota district. It is also known as ruhunu national park. Yala was designated as a wildlife sanctuary in 1900. Yala national park is spread over 978.8km2 territory. Yala national park is spread over 978.8km2 territory. It is the most visited and second largest national park in Sri Lanka. Specially we can see leopards,elephants,crocodiles and bird species in the park. When we visit zoo we can see the animals too,but watching animals in yala national park is fully different. In there we can observe animal's natural behaviors and the way they live freely. Watching animals in this way is quite hard.but in this yala park it has become easy for all of us. So who loves animals,the nature and it's beauty, are visiting yala park continuously to feel the nature. ------------------------Sigiriya- Sri Lanka--------------------------

Sigiriya is one of most famous visiting place in sri lanka.It is located in nothern Mathale district near the town of Dambulla in the central province, sri lanka.Once it was the palace of the king Kashyapa,who was the king of the Anuradhapura kingdom.Sigiriya is called as sinhagira too, because , structure of the entrance of sigiriya is built like a lion's mouth.'Sinha' means the lion and 'gira' means the top.
Sigiriya is a rock which is 180 metres high.Interesting thing is though it is a rock our ancestors have been able to turn it into a eye touching palace full of luxury.As well as there is a historical story behind sigiriya which is connected to the greatest king maha rawana.
When we visit sigiriya we can see sigiri kurutu githa/sigiri frescoes (songs written by ancestors),sigiri lalanawan(drawing of pretty ladies),sigiri katapath pawara,water springs...
It is better to visit sigiriya to have the closest,fantastic and wordless feeling rather than reading about sigiriya.
