Day 1
Airport / Colombo
On arrival at the Bandaranaike International Airport to begin the Sri Lanka tour, you will get your first taste of warm Sri Lankan hospitality; a representative from Sri Lankan Trip Advisor will welcome you and transfer you to Dambulla.
In the afternoon (about 2 pm) go to safari trip at Minneriya or Habarana .

Day 2 Sigiriya
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to visit Sigiriya Rock Fortress. (Time Duration 2 Hrs) Climb the 5th century Sigiriya Rock Fortress which is a World Heritage Site, built by King Kashyapa (477-495 AD). The ‘Lion Rock’ is a citadel of unusual beauty rising 200 metres from the scrub jungle. The rock was the innermost stronghold of the 70 hectare fortified town. A moat, rampart, and extensive gardens including the renowned water gardens ring the base of the rock. The world-renowned frescoes of the ‘Heavenly Maidens’ of Sigiriya, which are in a sheltered pocket of the rock can be approached by a spiral stairway. These frescoes are painted in earth pigments on plaster.
Then after go to the Hiriwaduna village safari and Village Lunch and Trekking at Hiriwaduna Take a ride in a bullock cart swaying from side to side on an unpaved trail, enjoy a nature walk through a scrub jungle, wade through a local stream with low hanging branches, cross a lake in an ‘oruwa’, the traditional mode of over water transport, spend time with a farmer harvesting crops under his guidance and taste authentic village cuisine prepared by the framer’s family with freshly picked produce and local herbs cooked in clay pots over an open hearth fuelled by firewood. Visitors to Habarana are afforded the opportunity of experiencing Sri Lanka’s dry zone and village life in the region through a trek to the Hiriwaduna hamlet that showcases the ecological setting of the area and provides a snapshot of village life as it unfolds. An excellent way to catch bits of village life as the inhabitants go about their daily chores, it also throws light on traditional methods of farming and life in a farming community such as the tree house where the farmer spends his nights to protect his crops from elephants and other nocturnal marauders.

Day 3
Dambulla / Matale / Kandy
Breakfast at the hotel and go to the visit Dambulla Cave Temple. Dambulla Cave Temple was built by King Walagambahu in the 1st century B.C. and it is a World Heritage Site. Also, it is the most impressive of Sri Lanka’s cave temples. The complex of five caves with over 2000 sq. metres of painted walls and ceilings is the largest area of paintings found in the world. It contains over 150 images of the Buddha of which the largest is the colossal figure of the Buddha carved out of rock and spanning 14 metres. (Time Duration 1 ½ Hrs)
Thereafter visit a spice garden in Matale. (Time Duration 1 ½ Hrs)
Continue the journey to Kandy and do a city tour of Kandy. Kandy was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings which is a World Heritage Site. The name “Kandy” conjures visions of splendour and magnificence. Many of the legends, traditions and folklore are still lovingly kept alive. Drive around the Kandy Lake built by the last Sinhala king Sri Wickrama Rajasinghe in 1798. Visit the bazaar area, arts & crafts centre, a gem museum and watch a lapidary at work. In the evening visit the Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic. Late evening witness the Cultural Show. (5 pm – 6.30 pm)

Day 4
Peradeniya / Ramboda /Ramboda Tea plantation
Breakfast at the hotel and visit to peradeniya botanical garden. (Time Duration 2 ½ Hrs)

1 ½ Hrs driving after visit the Ramboda Ella.
Rivers, as they flow over uneven ground or down mountains, often split into tributaries or form waterfalls. Sometimes two tributaries of the same river may form twin waterfalls very close to each other as the water spills down cliffs and rocks. However, it is quite uncommon for the tributaries to combine after forming the waterfalls making a Y shape.
This unique and beautiful sight can be seen at the Pussellawa area of Nuwara Eliya, at the Ramboda Pass. The Ramboda Falls in Sri Lanka or Ramboda Ella or Puna Ella as these falls are called is created from Puna Oya, a tributary of Kothmale Oya. It makes a twin with Dunsinane Falls which is created by Pundalu Oya, also a tributary of Kothmale River, and combines at the base to form a Y shape.

Day 5
Nuwara Eliya
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to visit Nuwara Eliya.
The scenery becomes more dramatic on the drive to Nuwara Eliya, the hill station favoured by the British when the heat of the coast got too enervating. The bungalows, climate and ambience evoke an old fashioned England. The hotel in the tea hills is uniquely (and comfortably) converted from a tea factory. . Nuwara Eliya is also the heart of Sri Lanka’s tea country producing a significant share of the world’s best tea. Sri Lanka’s highest mountain Pidurutalagala (8282 feet) is located here. Nuwara-Eliya also has one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in South Asia.

The train ride from Nanu Oya to Ella through forests and hills is acknowledged as one of the World’s great train trips. There are views too to be seen from the hill country village of Ella with its quaint cafés and scenic waterfalls.
En route visit a tea plantation and a tea factory.
Then after proceed to the visit jungle and you can visit elephants If there is no rain.

Day 6
Yala
Breakfast at the Eco Lodge and transfer to Yala.
Leave after breakfast for Yala National Park. Arrive at the campsite located inside the Yala National Park in time for lunch. Popular for its Elephant and Leopard sightings, catch a glimpse of these creatures roaming the wild.Take an evening game drive of Yala National Park to track the Sri Lanka Leopard, Elephant, Sloth Bear and many other exciting species of wildlife. Set off once again yala safari and enjoy evening game drives at the Yala National Park.

Day 7
Matara / Mirissa
Breakfast at the hotel and transfer to Matara.
A Whale Watching boat ride into the ocean is a must if one is in Mirissa. The spinner dolphins are fun to watch, as they playfully dive in and out of the water, delighting those who are lucky to spot them. During certain times of the year, the majestic blue whale and the s***m whale are also seen gliding through the waters of this area. Mirissa is a beautiful crescent shaped, sandy beach surrounded by palm trees, typical of south Sri Lanka. Surf left and right handers, great for beginners.

Day 8
Galle
VISIT TO GALLE FORT
Spend a few interesting hours exploring beautiful Galle a coast city situated in the southwestern tip of the island. It boasts of being an important historical landmark with its fortified city, built by the Portuguese in the 16th century and later developed in the 17th century, during the Dutch Colonial period. The Dutch Fort in Galle is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is the largest remaining fortress in Asia built by European occupiers. Take an exciting walk through this heritage site that boasts of a colourful history. Observe the many sites such as the Old Gate with the British Coat-of-Arms inscribed on it, the Old Dutch Hospital, the ramparts that run around the fortress with its excellent view of the ocean, the clock tower built in 1882, the light house built in 1939,the many bastions - each made for a specific purpose, Dutch colonial style houses with gables and verandahs, the Dutch Reformed Church built in 1640, the New Oriental Hotel, originally built in 1694, the National Maritime Museum and more.
