There is below weather warning issue from Department of meteorology Sri Lanka

A low pressure area is likely to develop over central part of south Bay of Bengal around 05th November night. It is very likely to move west-northwestwards across southwest Bay of Bengal, Sri Lanka and Gulf of Mannar area during 6-8 November 2018.

Due to this situation the showery condition is expected to enhance over the island particularly in the Eastern, Uva and North-central provinces from today (05th) night.

General public, Naval and fishing communities are requested to be attentive about advisories issued by the Department of Meteorology in this regard further.
