Mirissa is a small village with a beautiful beach paradise enough, I went for a holiday to enjoy with real friends from home, it was really a strange feeling to see some friends from home. The feeling of being with someone you know on the other side of the world is quite comforting and relaxing I would say.he thing to do in Mirissa is whale watching. We went there one morning after negotiating the price with a bit everyone. Finally it is in our homestay we got the best deal (approx. 15CHF / person). The experience was quite strange, we rode one of 30 or 40 boats out there and we sailed off in a rather rough sea, as you say we were happy not to have had too much Arak (alcohol local coconut) the day before because it was a struggle against the seasickness. for almost an hour we sailed without seeing anything, we were completely alone in the middle of this blue expanse. It's tiring because you're constantly trying to scan the horizon to try to spot a whale. And when the first appeared, our commander was reported then 5min later there were boats coming out from everywhere.
Finally, the show was quite impressive. We had the chance to see five whales. But it is the return that was the craziest I would say:The home was totally magical: We went next to the fishermen who went back their fish, so, HUNDREDS of dolphins "walk" for fun or food! But I've never seen so many dolphins in my life! There were easily over 200 !!! MAGIC!
