මිල්ලන්ගොඩ රාජා යනු ජීවත්ව සිටි සමයේදී ආසියාවේ දිගුම දළ සහිත ඇතා ලෙස සළකනු ලැබූ, ශ්‍රී ලංකාවේ විසූ හස්තියෙකු වේ.1945 වර්ෂයේදී, පුත්තලම් දිස්ත්‍රික්කයේ ආණමඩුව නවගත්තේගමප්‍රදේශයේ වනාන්තරයකදී ග්‍රහණය කරගනු ලැබූ මෙම ඇතා පසුව කෑගල්ලේ මොලගොඩ විසූ එම්. ආර්. ඒ. මිල්ලන්ගොඩ අප්පුහාමි වෙතට අයත් විය.වර්ෂ 40කට ආසන්න කාලයක් මුළුල්ලෙහිමහනුවර ඇසල පෙරහැරේ ගමන් කිරීමට සහ දන්ත ධාතූන් වහන්සේසහිත කරඬුව වැඩමවීමේ භාග්‍යය හිමිකරගැනීමටද මිල්ලන්ගොඩ රාජා හස්තියාට හැකිවිය.වර්ෂ 2011 අගෝස්තු 3වන දිනදී හස්තියා මරණයට පත් විය.
