Horton Plains is one of the best camping sites in the Hill country. In this trip you will embark on a train journey from Colombo to Ohiya. After a half a day hike you will arrive at the Camping site where you will pitch the tents and prepare for the night. The entire hike and camping is done with the assistance of a well trained camping guide. During the hike and camping you will be provided with lite meals cooked on site by your selves and the guide.

On the second day you can trek one of the highest mountain peaks of Sri Lanka. You may also trek towards Baker’s Falls a breath taking waterfall hidden in the forests surrounding the plain. Numerous Birds, Hares and the Sambar Deer is impossible to miss during a day’s hike. On a lucky day you might even spot a Leopard at safe distance.

The second and the third nights will be spent in Ella – a sought after tourist destination – exploring the surroundings on your own.

Upon your return to Colombo you will be received at the Train station and transferred to your Hotel for overnight stay and departure by a private vehicle to the airport.
