Minneriya National Park is one of the most renowned wildlife parks in Sri Lanka, especially famous for its large gatherings of wild elephants.

🐘 The Elephant Gathering:
Main Attraction: Between July and October, hundreds of elephants (sometimes over 300) congregate around the Minneriya Tank to feed, bathe, and socialize.
This is considered one of the largest wild Asian elephant gatherings in the world.
