🟢The Hill Country Train Returns! 🚂💨

The engines are revving up at Badulla Railway Station!
We are thrilled to confirm that the Sri Lanka Railways Department will resume passenger operations on the scenic Up-Country Line starting Tomorrow, December 20th.
📍 The Re-Opened Route (Badulla ↔️ Ambewela):
This special service covers the entire world-famous tourist loop, including:
✅ Demodara (Nine Arch Bridge)
✅ Ella
✅ Bandarawela
✅ Haputale
✅ Ohiya / Pattipola (Horton Plains)
📅 Daily Schedule (Starting Dec 20):
1️⃣ Morning: Departs Badulla at 09:00 AM
2️⃣ Afternoon: Departs Badulla at 03:00 PM
(Return trips from Ambewela start at 09:30 AM and 03:00 PM)
The tracks are fixed. The train is on the turntable. The Nine Arch Bridge is waiting for you to ride across it.
