🗓️ Day 1 – Arrival & Negombo

Arrive at Bandaranaike International Airport (CMB)

Transfer to: Negombo (20 mins drive)

Activities:

Relax on Negombo Beach 🏖️

Explore Dutch Canal and Fish Market

Enjoy seafood dinner by the beach 🍤

Overnight: Negombo

🏛️ Day 2 – Sigiriya & Dambulla

Drive to: Sigiriya (approx. 4 hrs)

Activities:

Visit Dambulla Cave Temple 🕍

Climb Sigiriya Rock Fortress 🪨 (sunset view is best)

Optional: Village tour in Hiriwadunna 🚣‍♀️

Overnight: Sigiriya or Habarana

🌿 Day 3 – Polonnaruwa & Minneriya Safari

Morning: Explore Ancient City of Polonnaruwa 🏯 (UNESCO site)

Evening: Jeep safari at Minneriya National Park 🐘 (see wild elephants!)

Overnight: Sigiriya

☕ Day 4 – Kandy

Drive to: Kandy (approx. 3 hrs)

Activities:

Visit Temple of the Tooth Relic

Stroll around Kandy Lake

Watch a Cultural Dance Show 💃

Visit a Spice Garden and Tea Factory en route

Overnight: Kandy

🚂 Day 5 – Nuwara Eliya (Hill Country)

Scenic Train Ride: Kandy → Nuwara Eliya 🚂 (via Nanu Oya)

Activities:

Visit Gregory Lake

Explore Tea Plantations and Factory Tour 🍃

Walk through the charming town (called “Little England”)

Overnight: Nuwara Eliya

Drive or train to: Ella (2 hrs)

Activities:

Hike Little Adam’s Peak

Visit Nine Arches Bridge 🌉

Relax at Ravana Falls

Overnight: Ella

🐘 Day 7 – Udawalawe or Yala National Park

Drive to: Udawalawe (3 hrs) or Yala (4 hrs)

Activities:

Early morning or afternoon safari 🦁

See elephants, leopards, and crocodiles

Overnight: Udawalawe or Tissamaharama

🌊 Day 8 – Galle & Departure

Drive to: Galle (3–4 hrs)

Activities:

Walk along Galle Fort 🏰

Enjoy Unawatuna Beach or Mirissa Beach

Relax before returning to Colombo or Airport
