初日から、ルークの温かさと気さくな人柄のおかげで、私たちはすっかりくつろぐことができました。彼は常に冷静で忍耐強く、妻が田舎の景色を楽しみながら長距離ドライブをしたいと希望していた時も、バングラデシュ出身の現役建築家としてスリランカの建築を探求したいという私の希望にも、いつも快く応じてくれました。

ルークの流暢な英語のおかげで、私たちはスムーズにコミュニケーションを取ることができました。また、彼の現地に関する豊富な知識のおかげで、旅のあらゆる場面がスムーズで充実したものになりました。熟練したドライバーであるだけでなく、彼は本当に親切で明るい紳士で、自分の仕事に誇りを持っています。

A Memorable Week in Sri Lanka with Our Chauffeur, Luke

Our week in Sri Lanka, traveling through Sigiriya, Kandalama, Galle, Bentota, and Colombo; turned out to be one of the most memorable trips we’ve had, thanks to our wonderful chauffeur, Luke.

From the very first day, Luke’s warmth and easygoing nature made us feel completely at ease. He was always calm, patient, and ready to go the extra mile; whether it was my wife’s wish for long, scenic drives across the countryside or my own interest in exploring Sri Lanka’s architecture as a practicing architect from Bangladesh.

Luke’s fluency in English helped us communicate effortlessly, and his local knowledge made every part of our journey smoother and richer. Beyond being a skilled driver, he’s genuinely a kind-hearted, cheerful gentleman who takes pride in what he does.

We’re truly grateful for his company throughout the week, he made every ride feel personal and every destination more enjoyable. I would wholeheartedly recommend Luke to anyone visiting Sri Lanka. A good man, a fantastic chauffeur, and someone we’ll remember fondly.

Abbiamo trascorso 10 giorni in Sri Lanka con il mitico driver Sampath: ci ha portato in tutti i luoghi di interesse principali ma anche in moltissimi altri posti a noi sconosciuti: templi, mercati tipici, spettacoli. Sampath è molto professionale, puntuale, gentile e simpatico. Ha cercato sempre di aiutarci e consigliarci al meglio il programma di ogni giorno. Ha organizzato per noi un corso di cucina e di yoga con poco preavviso. La macchina è molto confortevole e spaziosa. Consigliamo a tutti coloro che desiderano fare un viaggio in Sri Lanka di scegliere Steplanka!
