Today, I came to Colombo by Turkish Airlines from Istanbul (TK730). The only meal option available was Beef as I don't take Beef, I had to starve for the 10 + hour journey. Orange Juice? 'FINISH' was the curt reply by the hostess. There were several who had to fore-go a meal, and not for the first time.

Skytrax 2023 World Airline Awards may consider them for the Best Economy Class Catering, but this is how the Sri Lanka sector is treated. SAD...

If you hope to travel by make sure you take a meal from home.

We introduced "O Crux Ave" (Rihards Dubra) and "The Ground" (Ola Gjeilo). It was great to have Samith Perera (Cello) and Neson George (Acoustic Guitar) accompanying for “The Servant King” (Graham Kendrick), in addition to Suresh De Mel. The evening was made extra special by the presence of Dhilanthi Fernando (Choir Mistress 1973-75) who read a lesson, and her husband Shanta Premawardhana (Former Chorister)
