1st day (Negombo)
Meet your guide on Arrival at Bandaranaike Airport.Visit a fishing village and Ancient Dutch fort in Negombo. Leisure at the beach and get a boat in the evening to ride over lagoon.
2nd day (Anuradhapura)
After breakfast, visit Anuradhapura: The First Capital of Sri Lanka in the 3rd century BC declared as a World Heritage Site. Visit Sri Maha Bodhi: the oldest historical documented tree in the world, eight major palaces, Isurumuniya rock temple and Buddhist monasteries.
3rd day (Polonnaruwa)
After breakfast explore the ancient city of Polonnaruwa, once the capital of an advanced and prosperous medieval kingdom, which is full of stone sculptures in 2nd century BC. Visit “Gal Viharaya” main attraction in Polonnaruwa, has two seating Buddha statues, one Standing statue and one statue in a Parinirvana Manchakaya which were done from a single huge granite rock. Evening take a jeep for safari to see Asian Elephants at Minneriya/ Habarana.
4th day (Sigiriya)
In the morning Leave to Sigiriya to visit 650feet high Rock Fortress, One of the most valuable historical monuments of Sri Lanka, which was the largest and most sophisticated single construction project ever under taken in ancient Sri Lanka (5th Century AD). If you wish you can have a village tour also. In the evening walk to a Sri Lankan Ayurwedic Herbal Spa for body relaxation.
5th day (Dambulla – Kandy)
After breakfast visit another nice attraction of hand painting clothing factory of Silk and also a wood carving factory to see how to make natural painting from wood. Visit rock temple of Dambulla: Major attractions of the area contain the largest and best conserved Cave Temple Complex of Sri Lanka. After that, leave to Kandy. En route visit to a spice garden and herbal in Mathale. In Kandy, you can have a city tour: Highlights: The Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic which is the Buddhist’s heart, Kandy Lake, Gem museum.
6th day (Pinnawala – Kandy)
After Breakfast visit Pinnawala Elephant Orphanage, where is notable for having the largest herd of captive elephants in the world. Visit Peradeniya Botanical garden was famous as a royal flower garden. In the evening, you can see the Sri Lankan spectacular cultural dancing show with fire walk.
7th day (Nuwara Eliya)
After Breakfast travel to Nuwara Eliya: the highest town in Sri Lanka, elevation around 2000m above sea level and surrounded by lush tea plantations. En route Visit Ramboda water Fall & Tunnel. Visit tea factory & tea plantation to discover how the most widely consumed drink in the world is prepared.
8th day (Horton Plains – Ella)
Early in the morning travel to Horton Plains National Park which is a key wildlife area of open grassy woodland and World’s end with Bakers fall. Collect more photographs of flora & fauna with many more endemic spices. Train tour from Horton Plains to Ella .Explore Ella gap and Rawana Waterfall. Evening drive to southern part of Sri Lanka.
9th day (Mirissa – Galle)
Early in the morning check out from hotel Whales watching in Mirissa. You can have Leisure at the most famous beach. After that travel to Galle.En route visit Unawatuna Beach.
10th day (Galle)
You can have the great experience to explore the village in a bicycle. Afternoon you can visit The Galle Dutch Fort: which is more popular sight in Galle as the oldest fort in Asia, Name as a world heritage by the UNESCO. If you want, can arrange water sport activities also.
11th day (Colombo)
Travel to Negombo via Colombo after checkout from the hotel. En route visit to a turtle hatchery & you can enjoy a river safari in the Madu River if you wish. Boat ride in the river, will give you a different kind of experience. If you wish, have a city tour in Colombo.
