Merlore Villa was inaugurated on august 11, 2012. It is a resort made up of 6 bungalows, each full equipped with hot water, air conditioning, wi-fi, a confortable patio. It also has a small restaurant, where Tarindu, our highly experienced chef can please your appetite while suiting yours preferences. s available to assist you during your stay. Melrose Villa has six bungalows, 4 triple occupancy and 2 double occupancy, each one with a breath-taking view of the Sigiriya rock. We are also positioned near Dambulla, a well organized town near a major junction that makes easy and trouble free to reach all the most important cites in Sri Lanka. The location:
Melrose Villa is situated about 500 meters from the famous ancient rock fortress of Sigiriya. From the top of the rock can be envisioned a splendid panorama of the surrounding jungle. Sigiriya is geograpically located in the central province of Sri Lanka, a strategic position to start tours and excursions. Guided Tours:

the ancient capitals of the area such as Polonnaruwa and Anuradhapura are located nearby and make this archeological site a major attraction fot it's historical remains and cultural meaning. The Minneriya National Park:
furhtermore, the Minneriya National Park is not far away, about ten kilometres. This park include various species of mammals, birds, anphibians, reptiles, fis and butterflies. In particulars elephants and monkeys can be observed in their natural habitat. Sri Lanka itself is a natural park rich in fauna and flora.
